Marianne Sanderson joined The Jewkes Firm in January 2023 and brings with her over 25 years of legal experience. She was born in Queens, NY and raised in Stockbridge, GA. She graduated from SUNY Maritime College in 1995 with a degree in Meteorology & Oceanography and a minor in Environmental Science. After graduation she worked for the American Hull Insurance Syndicate adjusting claims for the shipping industry, and GAB Robins as insurance adjuster where she focused on personal injury and property and casualty. She also specialized in handling the subrogation claims for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, NY.

After moving to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1998, she entered the legal field, working in collections, real estate, and personal injury. She graduated from Horry-Georgetown Technical College in 2004 with her Paralegal Certification.

Mari is a current Notary Public, and in her spare time, she is active in the Maritime College Alumni Association. She also volunteers for Momocon and Dragoncon, two of the largest Multi-Genre Conventions held in Atlanta each Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend.

Mari has been married to her husband for 17 years and currently resides in McDonough, GA.
