Attorney Terence P. Malloy joined the Jewkes firm in July 2020. With 25 years of legal experience, Attorney Malloy has practiced civil and criminal law in Georgia as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney.

Attorney Malloy hails from a small town in North Carolina, where he left to attend the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD in the mid-80’s. At the Naval Academy he received my B.S. in English in 1987, and is classmates with NBA Hall of Famer David Robinson, and NASA astronaut Suni Williams, who formerly held the records for most spacewalks by a woman and most spacewalk time for a woman. Upon graduation, Attorney Malloy was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served on active duty to include fighting in the Gulf War in 1991.   It was after leaving active military service in 1992 that Attorney Malloy then went to law school receiving my Juris Doctorate in 1996 from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. He moved to Georgia the summer of 1996 just before the start of the Atlanta Olympic games, and passing the bar that year, Attorney Malloy began practicing law as a criminal prosecutor that November. Attorney Malloy also holds an Alabama law license he obtained in 2003.

Attorney Malloy is an adjunct college professor teaching the Legal Environment in Business at Clayton State University. He has taught a myriad of courses from constitutional law, prison law and criminal justice in addition to business law since he first began teaching in 2007.

Outside of the courtroom, Attorney Malloy is married and lives with his wife in Sharpsburg, Georgia. He enjoys officiating baseball, softball and football for Georgia high schools (GHSA) and U.S. Specialty Sports Association (USSSA). As a combat veteran, he is also a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
