Tamar Tsinaridze Scott is a proud first-generation immigrant from the Republic of Georgia who proudly calls herself the “true Georgian,” fortunate to call both Georgias home. She is believed to be the first “Double Georgian” lawyer, admitted to practice law in both the Republic of Georgia and the State of Georgia.
Before coming to the United States, Tamar earned both her LL.B. (the equivalent of a J.D. in the United States) and LL.M. degrees in Georgian law jurisprudence from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, one of the most respected law schools in the Republic of Georgia.
After immigrating to the United States more than two decades ago, Tamar continued pursuing her legal education and professional development. She earned a master’s degree in Conflict Management, receiving formal training in negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution. She later earned her LL.M. degree from Emory University School of Law, where she served as President of the LL.M. Society and received the prestigious Burt and Betty Schear Book Prize.
“I’ve found my gift in life through the law so much so that I became a lawyer in two different countries, in two different Georgias. I use that gift to fight for injured people against insurance companies. I fight for my clients because I truly love what I do, and nothing beats the feeling of knowing I’ve made a meaningful difference in their life.”
Her journey reflects the spirit of the American Dream, built on hard work, dedication, and a commitment to justice. Since arriving in the United States, Tamar has devoted her career exclusively to personal injury law, serving in various roles including attorney, law clerk, paralegal, and volunteer. Over the course of her career, she has successfully negotiated more than 1,000 cases.
Her passion for negotiation and advocacy drives her to pursue the maximum recovery for every client she represents. Tamar takes immense pride in the service she provides and is committed to treating each client as if they are her top priority.
A proud mother of two, Tamar resides in Peachtree City. When she is not advocating for her clients, you can often find her balancing life between soccer fields and ballet classes with her children.
