Tamar T. Scott
Attorney
Tamar Scott is a first-generation immigrant from the Republic of Georgia. She graduated from the law school of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in Georgian law jurisprudence.
Shortly after immigration to the United States she started working as a paralegal and now she has over 18 years’ experience in the personal injury field. Through this work, she found her love for negotiations. She earned her master’s degree in conflict management at Kennesaw State University, where she was formally trained in negotiations, mediation and conflict resolution.
Further, Tamar Scott graduated from Emory University School of Law with a Master of Law degree. During that time, she served as president of the LL.M. society and received the Burt and Betty Schear Book Prize.
Ms. Scott is a proud mother of two who lives in Peachtree City. In her free time, you will find her running from the soccer fields to ballet classes.
Ms. Scott has a keen understanding of the financial and emotional burdens caused by injuries. She takes great pride in calling herself the “true” Georgian and is lucky to call both Georgias her home. She is the first native Georgian to pass the Georgia Bar, making her the first double Georgian lawyer in history. Ms. Scott’s story is truly about fulfilling the American Dream through constant hard work, dedication and unyielding commitment to justice.
